Landline not working after switch, hub has orange light lit

Hi,

I recently switched to VM landline and broadband/TV.

Broadband is fine but no dial tone on the landline phone, no dial tone, it's never worked.

My VM hub / router has an orange light lit at the bottom all the time, but on this forum people seem to think that it should be white?

The orange bar LED at the bottom is the only LED lit on the hub.

Virgin should have sent you one and you could request one by calling in.

Quicker and easier to get one here though:

Orange LED is just a deteriorating LED and nothing to worry about.

As for the phone, where have you it connected to?  Is it in a standard phone socket, or is it plugged into the Hub?

An ordinary phone connects to the TEL1 socket via the VM adapter as per

If you log into the VM hub you should see Telephony is Ready or Enabled at the bottom of the Welcome page when you log in.

If it shows Telephony (Disabled) as per this image below then the landline has not been set up on the hub

Hi,

I'm not sure if I have an adaptor fitted.

Where do I get them from?
