What's happened with BBC 1 today at the end of each programme a red screen appears and music starts. Not had this before.

Is this happening on both of your V6 boxes?
Have you tried swapping them around?
Which geograaphical area are you in (approx)?
Have you used the online /service-status checker to see if anything listed? Or the automated Service Status number 0800 561 0061. This often gives details of more local issues down to postcode level.

Can you post a video of this happening? If broadcast programmes are OK, it would be interesting to actually see the issue you're reporting.

I wonder if the OP is describing the new inserts on BBC News that cover when the merged BBC World channel opts out to go to adverts?
If it is he needs to level his complaint at the BBC & not Virgin. They just transmit what they are given.

It was in all BBC1 northern regions for the morning of Monday 22nd April. Back to normal at 12.45pm
