Can't watch Sky Sports from Sky Sports website

Hi everyone,

I have taken out Sky Sport subscription via Virgin Stream, this works fine from my Stream box. However, when I login to from my PC using my Virgin account I can login OK but if I actually try to watch anything I just get directed to a site to take out a Sports subscription. Is this supported or is there often a long delay between taking out a contract and things getting in sync with Sky?

Your Sky Sports subscription is a contract between you and Virgin Media, so Sky knows nothing about it and will require a subscription directly with Sky to watch Sky Sports online. Having said that there is a Sky Sports app which VM customers can use to watch Sky Sports on their mobile device and there used to be a video player for Windows PCs and Macs.

In the Sky Sports app, there's a tiny red button at the bottom of the log-in page saying 'Log-in with VM' or similar, which you use with your VM details – it's easy to miss


I used the Virgin button to logon, that was my point. However, the issue is now resolved, there was just a 12 hour delay with the activation. 


Sorry, this is incorrect. I took out Sky Sports subscription with Virgin as part of my Stream bundle. You logion into the Sky Sports website or app with your Virgin ID. This is now all working for me, there was just a 12 hours delay during the activation process between Virgin and Sky. Thanks.
