Hi All,

I am having issues with the speed recently I m supposed to have 1GB but as you can see I very rarely get this speed.

I have rebooted multiple times, but nothing is changing. Any ideas on the issue?

Try checking with Area faults on 0800 561 0061 or if you have a VM landline 150 as small local faults are not listed on the VM status page.

Setup a BQM to monitor your circuit www.thinkbroadband.com/ping

Once done we can comment.

Also what speed is showing with a direct wired connection using www.samknows.com/realspeed ?

Note VM only guarantee 20Mb speed over WIFI,

Speed shows as 66.27 in router mode.

Nothing on local faults, this has been getting worse for weeks now.

What does the Samknows client show as being delivered to the Hub?  Can you post a screenshot of the result please? Is that also using a direct wired connection to the Hub with a gigabit capable device, e.g. laptop etc.

That was the speed shown on samknows I have set it back to modem mode and really don't want to reset it again. 

 

It was tested wired though with a 1 GB port

Okay, that's not good.  Your stats look good, apart from the T3 timeouts and the US channel profile hopping about.  You will need a VM technician to resolve this one for sure.  Note however, VM will request you put the Hub in Router mode, so they can monitor your circuit.

Setup a BQM if you have not already to record and monitor your incoming circuit  www.thinkbroadband.com/ping

Yes engineer came yesterday but speed is still low, currently 56mbps he said he would contact me on Monday to check if the hub replacement worked. 

If a change of Hub was the answer it would work perfectly instantly, the engineer ought to know that.

Are folks close to you are also seeing these performance issues ?

Given the issues have persisted, is an internet defect being reported on the 0800 561 0061 fault service.
