1Gig connection and poor Wifi speeds

Hi, 

Recently upgraded my connection to 1Gig. I am still on Hub 4 as technical team is saying that Hub 4 is capable of handling 1 Gig speeds. When I test using the VM connect app, I am not getting above 600Mbps. This is keeping my phone within 10cms of Hub 4.  VM Connect says shows that the Hub connects to internet with 1136Mbps. Did anyone ever received speeds near to 1Gig with Hub 4 on Wifi?

What's the point on saying that Hub 4 can give you 1Gig speeds when in reality it can output those speeds only via ethernet. Majority of people access internet via Wifi, these published speeds should be guaranteed via Wifi too.

The minimum guaranteed over wireless is 30Mbps:

Gig1 is meant to be shared across multple devices at the same time.

600 Mb/s at the mobile phone that is enough for about 100 Netflix films to be streamed at 1080p.

I can't cope with content arriving at that rate.
