Hi I have a TV package which includes Maxit  which runs out in August, but have just been offered an early update extending my contract to next year, however the TV package offer is Maga which means I loose TNT ? Why is that are virgin no longer offering Maxit TV ? And therefore what options do I have ?

Because the owners Discovery wanted TNT as a separate package. Your options are to stay on your current package or take the deal and pay for TNT sports.... The second will probably be cheaper if you have a lot of discounts at the moment.

You might also want to check Netflix too, if that’s currently part of your package. I had a similar offer a couple of months ago, and they failed to inform me that Netflix had gone from the renewal package as well as TNT.
