I don't know if the reboots (reason unknown) are a failed update or work in the area... I did a pinhole reset two / three weeks ago and had many problems with it not resetting fully (retaining information of wifi connections and not resetting the settings properly and not setting wifi security to enabled and not allowing me to either) and eventually after 5 attempts got it to reset. but the reboots have started again for a week then stopped for a couple of days and are now starting again. The problems with pinhole reset have been apparent with this modem since around November last year but it has not been changed or caused issue. So the reboots happening overnight are causing NAS disconnection which then sends me alerts in the middle of the night. every now and then I can handle but not every night. and as for replying to Davids post (Megan) this is now the third reply..

Hi fizz
Thanks for getting back to us, I'm really sorry to hear this is still a problem for you.
I can see that your last engineer visit was about a month ago, so we'll need to look at getting another engineer out to you to investigate further.
I have dropped you a PM.

I have responded to your PM (not that I should have been pushed back to the forum by Kath when the problem clearly was not fixed and have to wait another over a month to talk to someone about it) .
by the way no reboots for the last two nights and I am rather reluctant to go through all the hassle of going back to router mode again.. now 20 months of issues 🙂 great hey??

Any words of wisdom from the wise on the community. It cannot be a failed update, on two modems? and with specific periods of rebooting or not. Or is this a maintenance window thing? If it is it is driving me potty with notifications in the middle of the night that NAS and cameras are offline 😮
