It's not peak time utilisation it is customer saturation I.e. the more connected the slower it gets but you seem to be very lucky. I will see what happens at contract renewal in Feb because I cannot get anything like virgin can offer for sports and channels I watch but I fear that jumping to over 200 quid a month at contract end I will be forced too because they will get nowhere near the offer i had to stay last time.. may just go low broadband and tv with sky and tnr and one box rather than 2. Im thinking about jumping to brsk but read that the speeds drop significantly with area utilisation I.e. the more people in your area the worse it gets. Are you using your own router and the hub in modem mode or just the virgin hub? Perhaps a pinhole reset of the hub would help but I am sure the virgun staff will tell you what they want you to do to go through their resolution path. Contract options and switching to stream Hi all, I am not far away from the end of my contract and facing a hike from 79 pounds to over 200 for the service I currently have with no real better options but to loose some of my services. I watch and record a lot of sky and tnt content and wanted to know if the stream (flex) offering actually has any catch up options for these channels. What are the options like generally for watching the content of other channels (soaps for my wifes point of view) generally? Thanks in advance. Re: ITVX App not working on both boxes. Seems to be working now after a day or so. ITVX App not working on both boxes. ITVX app sits at start screen and never fully boots up even after rebooting the boxes. I had problems like this for 22 months with two repulls (the first was the wrong size cable the second had the cable ends bodged on and did not work) and it took I think 13 or 14 visits from engineers until I finally got one who could disagnose and fix the problem in the cabinet in the end.. Re: Channel 525 sound I have ongoing issues and reported them three years ago now.. other people have the same and only with tnt ultimate. On bother boxes one through an amp.and another through tv. Changing channels and going back sometimes fixes it. Others have reported changing the audio stream seems to fix it but does not for ne. Re: Tivo lost connection I had this problem once but only one direction and after about 20 minutes. Changed cables and did notmmake.a difference. I had the one box replaced and it went away steady ever since. I put it down to perhaps a hear problem with the ethernet socket.
