Small claims

Hi,

please can someone help me with the correct address to use for me to take VM to small claims court.

I took them to cisas and cisas ruled in my favour plus compensation my old VM account was in credit. VM has avoided refunding me back my money and it’s been two years now chasing up this refund. Please help me with the correct address.

thank you

Hi,

I meant the address for virgin media not the court. Am stuck on the address to put for virgin media.

thanks

Can't give you a definitive answer (only a best-guess) but ...

The Law Society shows solicitors registered for VM at its Reading and Hammersmith offices.

https://solicitors.lawsociety.org.uk/organisation/offices/497200/virgin-media-limited

If you expand the links you can see the legal aspects covered at each site.

Hammersmith and Reading also seem to be main offices

https://www.virginmedia.com/corporate/contact-us/office-locations

Reading is the 'registered office' (which would be my guess as to the address for legal matters).

https://store.virginmedia.com/the-legal-stuff/registered-office.html

What stage of the small claims process are you at?

https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/law-and-courts/legal-system/small-claims/making-a-small-claim/

If you are sending the letter before action you could send it to the registered office and see if it is acknowledged

Ideally your question needs to be flagged for the forum team or moved to the relevant 'Management' forum so it will get an answer from the VM forum team.

Post duly moved..

@Snramz  - the general chatter board you posted in, isn't generally monitored by staff. The account management board I've moved it to, is.

goslow has otherwise covered most of what I'd have said, and a bit more besides.

Thanks for your post on our Community Forums @Snramz, and a very warm welcome to you!

We're sorry to hear that the CISAS ruling in your favour has not been issued to you.

Can you please advise me if you've been able to work with CISAS on this matter?

What should happen is a member of CISAS works with a member of our team to ensure that any outstanding issues, such as credit/monetary refunds are issued correctly, in accordance to the ruling issued

Kindest regards,

David_Bn

I’ve tried contacting CISAS many times and all I get is virgin said they will send you the cheque of the credit on your account. In the end they stopped responding to my messages. Hence I have gone to small claims
