my contract is coming to an end and since virgin have zero interest in giving me better deal after 20 years plus with them .
I am rarely at home anyway with work but if my partner wants virgin services and pays for it herself, can she get the new customer deals

Yes I did, I made sure I was able to before taking the new contract up at start of sale, always good to have proof.

Can someone clarify;
It appears this is working for you guys with partners who have different sir names & different accounts.
However, does this work for the traditional married couple with same sirname & joint bank accounts/
My Virgin package is in my name only but is paid from a joint account.

Good news is we can change the account over into a different name "including traditional like you asked"
However as a Forum Team this is not something we can do on here sorry
You can call us directly on 150 from your Virgin Media Home Phone number or 0345 454 1111 then select option 1, option 4, option 2. to get this looked at

They’ll contact you - won’t leave you alone in fact. They’ll call, say no. They’ll call back and improve their offer, say no. They’ll call again… up to you which point you accept - or go all through the cancellation and sign up in your partners name, with the tasty new customer offers 👌
Nb - My account number has increased by 4, each time we’ve done it - so despite what the VM drones come out with it’s definitely doable.

Should absolutely work with traditional married couple with same surname. Your partner has no contract with VM, and is by every definition a “new customer”. You’re ending your contract with them. Literally as simple as that - don’t pay any attention to the 30 day, 60 day nonsense the VM drones come out with.
