Hi,
Long story short: Customer for many years. Moved house this year, did not change Tv/BB/Phone package, was told contract would simply continue... I ended up being signed up to a new 18 month contract without me knowing and I didnt check. This was in June 2024. Original contract was due to expire 2nd/3rd December 2024... new one I didnt know about ends Dec 2025.
Im moving abroad for work so used WhatsApp service to cancel/give notice and was told would need to pay £1500 early termination fee... as you can imagine, I nearly died!
Called customer services who say they have now adjusted the contract end date to 21st December 2024. Specific numbers of final bills in November/December were mentioned etc, but when I log onto 'My Virgin Media' it all still states a December 2025 contract end... which is making me panic as I I think the disconnection is booked for 25th November which is what I wanted... but I have nothing in writing re: final bill amount... and the website still says I have 1 year+ on the contract...
Can a moderator please help my sanity and confirm my contract end date of Nov 25th, and what my final bills will be... and why My Virgin Media doesn't reflect any of this?
Im very worried, any help would really be appreciated. Thank you very much.

Thanks for posting and welcome to the community.
Sorry for the contract shock. When moving house and in a contract already, then it's like for like.
However, what may happen due to coding is the full contract/price put on, then amended after install. Purely due to coding.
