Hi
Elderly parents remote broken, gone through all the checks and tried reset still not working. Tried to order online got to the end and tells me sorry there was an issue placng your order. Tried to call your number not working, tried to chat online not working...any ideas what I can do?

Did you try the following link? https://my.virginmedia.com/faults/order-new-remote
In the meantime if your parents have either an android or ios mobile or tablet then they should be able to download the TV Control app to use as a temporary remote.
There's a link to download the app on the following page /virgin-tv-edit/tips-and-tricks/telly-hacks-2020
And instructions on how to use it <here>
