Channel 4 Not available Sorry - we can't play this at the moment 1002

All the other channels seem to be fine on TV Go. Just this one. I tried different browsers and private mode (to isolate issues related to cookies etc) and it is the same.

Guys mine is working now but not sure if it’s because of me accepting the beta testing update for the go app..?

Me too but I have made no changes at all having ignored it and used Channel4+ instead for months rather than the offered call to tech support. I never used the app, I was having the problem using a browser to access TVGo.

Hey hatfield, thank you for reaching out and I am sorry to hear this. 

Are you getting the error code 1002?

Does it work fine on Channel 4+1 all the time?

It was. I started this thread! Now it has 'fixed itself' and I no longer seem to have any issues. The only change that has happened is there may have been some VM account activity after I lost TNT sports on 30th June (I hadn't been sent an e-mail related to this until after I contacted tech support to restore it) and whatever tech support did may have done something. Otherwise I'm at a loss to what changed other than it has just fixed itself. You will note that I had access to ALL other channels on TV-GO except Channel 4 HD but as I said, it has now been restored somehow.

I'm getting error code 1002 again. It is the same issue that seemed to resolve itself for a while and has just come back today. I have tried restarting the computer, logging back in, different browsers etc like last time and yet again it is only 4HD. All the other channels including 4+1 are working fine, broadband is fine. Just Channel 4 HD not connecting again.

Exactly the same here. 🤣

TV, Phone and Broadband (FTTP/RFoG) using the Hub 5 in modem mode, with a router running Openwrt.

.....and it's back again! I've done nothing. It's just back again this morning. As you were. Nothing to see here........

How have things been since yesterday morning? Have you been getting the error code again at any point or has the channel consistently remained connected?
