Is there any way I can swap download speed for uplaod speed?

I have 110mb download and only 10mb upload.

Not usually an issue but my PS5 sometimes has slow upload speeds (2mb) and I stream so I need it to be faster. It is wired too not wifi.

VM will upsell you to a higher tier as they have more upload speed.  Other than that, or moving to an Openreach supplier, there is nothing you can do.

10 Mbps should be easily enough for an HD (1080p/30fps) stream as that is typically around 4-7 Mbps.  So if you're finding problems and the occasional slow upload speed suggests that you would, best to get to the root of those.  I suggest we start by looking at the hub's status data.

Pull up the log in page for the hub.  But don't log in, just click on the link "Check router status"  That'll bring up a window with five tabs.  Open the Downstream tab.  Select all the text (Ctrl-A if using a keyboard), copy it (Ctrl-C), then paste it (Ctrl-V) into a reply here as TEXT not screenshots.  Post that, do the same for the Upstream and Network log.  You'll get an error message when you post the Network log, just click on "post" a second time.  Then we can check for any obvious problems with power, noise or error counts, if all looks good we can move on to other checks.

You need an engineer visit to look that those. Downstream power levels are very high, upstream should be at 64QAM, but is showing 32, so honestly not surprised you're having issues right now. Would be worth a revisit once you've had these issues sorted to see if you need the upgrade or not.

Yes I don't know what I'm looking at but critical, error and warning didn't look good. Thank you. I'll call them next week.

The downstream levels are so grossly excessive that your connection will certainly be disrupted. You definitely need attention to this.   Was there ever an attenuator fitted in the feed to the Hub?

My name is NOT Alessandro. That's just a tag Virginmedia sticks on some contributors. Please ignore it.

Hi @stoffle thanks for getting back to our community.

I am sorry your upload speeds are still not what you'd expect.  I would love to take a closer look at this for you.  I am going to send you a private message.

Regards
