Is there any way to contact the team who deal with external installations?

Originally I was meant to have a self install broadband, turns out that BT had hijacked the connection so my property was no longer connected to virgin. The external team came this Saturday (24/06) but could not complete the job for whatever reason and did not contact me to tell me why. I assumed another team would come but they haven’t yet, and I have absolutely no way of knowing. The pre-install team I phoned cannot help as my service has been activated! 
Am I just meant to wait around for however long until someone bothers to show up? Desperately need broadband as me and my partner both work from home.

Any advice please?
