Hi, I have joined VM just one week ago and paid for installation. Knowing my house size, shape and thick walls I requested 2 Pods when I signed up- these were promised.
I have rooms in my house with no Wi-Fi at all, and cannot connect to get a failed scan so I can order. Therefore impossible to order correct?
Several calls, chats and a formal complaint later, still no sign of a Pod. I am on Volt 500 and it clearly says up to 3- I would not have joined VM if this were not the case.
A challenge to any VM team to address this for me?

The 14 days is just passed but the issue is well documented so if it came to that I think I could, but surely for a simple gadget that has a very low cost price it won’t come to that.
Well I spent well over 1 hour on phone calls today. The latest agent assured me the pod is now ordered and I am awaiting a confirmation email. I cannot see an order on the system yet, but then I can’t see the complaints raised either.
I desperately hope the very pleasant and competent lady does not let me down, earlier I was told by another colleague an order was being raised then later in the same call I was told it is not.
In a further twist - appears landline not ported yet but that is very low on my list.
so for the next few hours I am optimistic, let’s see.

TBH.... few of the power users on these fora would recommend using VM Pods for better wifi for a number of reasons. I myself only ever use VM Hubs in modem mode and supply my own modem and wifi equipment and I have had whole home coverage since doing that some 20 years ago... with not a single serious wifi issue.
Consider the pro's/con's of doing that if you cant sort this Pod fiasco soon - you will certainly sleep better 😀
You would need to get either a… (1) Mesh System, (2) Wireless router, (3) Wireless access point (4) A combination of (2,3). £40-100 should sort it for most customers with an average property and usage. Pay some more £ if you want more knobs and whistles (should you need them 😎).

Thanks, I have been advised to consider alternative solutions locally too so I might end up there.
I don’t want to to be a specialist but it looks like the only way to get through this. Problem is only coverage at the moment, but VM tripping over to avoid showing what they can do.
Remaining cheerful and trying for keep stress down. 🙂

Three of my mates all got TP-Link Deco Mesh systems and praise them wildly for ease of use, set up and functionality. Take a look at that range - get a 3-pack of 1GB units - look at their... S4, M4, M5, X20 units as starter examples of what you get for your money 😎

Thanks John, I will do.
I am told there is pod ordered now, no record of the commitment anywhere. Give it a day or two see what happens.

Hi @Quill-01
Please do let us know if you have or have not received your pod within 5 working days of you order.
If you ordered online, can you confirm what date you ordered your pod?

Hi Carley please provide the order number for my pod- I was told I would get an email to confirm the order was placed by VM but did not.
My expectation is zero, but confirm and order number and delivery expectation and surprise me.

They promised me pods to get me to sign up over a year back . I wasn't happy either when they wasn't sent in the box . I had a technician come last Tuesday and asked him about those pods . He told me they're rubbish . If you want a good mesh system and you have a bit of coin buy an Orbi mesh router with a few satellite pods or more depending on your home size . They come as a kit. The signal will burn through your solid walls .
