Re-using old Hub3 as a wifi boost in a different room.

Last summer we received a new Hub 4 and all is fine.

Today I tried to connect a Philips Smart TV to the network, eventually it was connected; but no channels.

After a bit of checking I found the wifi signal on the other TV (next room) to be really low, I now plan to re-use the redundant Hub 3 as a wifi extension.

Q 1) Do I need to factory reset before altering any setting.

Q 2) Is it right the Hub 4 will allocate a new IP address for the other TV automatically

Q 3) The SSID will be changed to the same as Hub 4 ??

Any assistance will be gratefully received,   Regards  Mr Fonce

The hub3 will not work, it must be connected to coax and assigned to your account. It will have been removed from your account when the hub4 became active. VM will soon request it back.
