Query re VM Connect app

Morning all,
In VM Connect App > Settings > App settings is a toggle bar 'Restore old hub settings' which is currently in the 'On' position.
What does this actually do and should I switch it off when adding another Pod plus a mesh wi-fi repeater that I bought myself?
Any advice/help would be much appreciated.

I suspect this is the explanation of why replacement VM Hubs suddenly change their Wi-Fi settings adopting the SSID & Password of the previous VM Hub.

Agree, this is one of the newer "improvements" to make life easier for the users.  No need to re SSID all the existing IoT when a new Hub arrives.  Will be interesting to see if the Hub 5s maintain this renaming as it has been known to cause issues in the past firmware.
