sky sports login

I am trying to access sky sports from a new device

I open the sky sports app and select Watch Sky Sports

It opens the login page and I select the Virging media option and it comes back "An unknown error has occured"

I click on need help and then select Registering your devices. It takes me to a TVgo Virgin page with no mention of registering devices or Sky Sports

I have the a link to a registering devices page and I have deleted 2 slots to make sure there is something available, but this link does not allow you to add a new device

i am stuck

Sorry taken so long to reply but I have been away

The position now is that I cannot access sky sports on my PC or my laptop. It looks as if it is working and you can select a games to watch but when you do it just goes back to the sky sports home page

However I have installed it on my Galaxy tab7 and it works perfectly with no problems using my Virgin sign in

Most frustrating

Thank you for that information. To confirm, on the PC or laptop. Have you been able to try different web browsers?

Progress !!

It seems to work on my PC using Firefox. Chrome is what I usually use and I would prefer to use that but if i can only use Firefox that would not be the end of the world

I have not tried on the laptop yet as I do not have Firefox installed there

Only comment is that it seems to be about half a minute behind the live broadcast. Is that normal?

Just a suggestion to save you having to manually open Firefox each time. There should now be a Sky Sports app shortcut in your windows start menu (you might have to click on All to see it) If you right click on the app shortcut you should have the option be able to pin it to the taskbar.

You should also be able right click on the app shortcut in the apps menu and then right click on the shortcut link on the screen it opens and right click again to send it to your desktop

Yes that's normal
