SuperHub 5 not working on 5ghz on Surface Laptop 2

There seems to be some sort of issue with the new SuperHub 5 and Surface Laptop wireless drivers. Has anyone else had issues and help in rectifying it.

Hi there, yes everything else works.

Use the hub in modem mode and get a better wireless router with 1Gb ports.

I’ve already got another router set up in access point mode but just rather disappointing that the new router doesn’t work on my laptop.

It seem VM do not code to wifi standards or the laptop doesn't

I'm so sorry to hear that this is happening. 

If the laptop is the only device showing an issue then it may be worth making sure the network card is updated or speak to the manufacturer? We've found a article here that may be of some help to you. 

Can I just clarify, is the laptop able to connect to 5g from another Hub at all?
