Unable to compose, reply, forward or delete emails

Since maintenance work was done on the ntlworld site on 30th June 2023, I have been unable to respond to e-mails or compose new ones.  Three long phone calls to Virgin Media in July have been a waste of time as nothing has changed. I have been told that other users have the same problem and been given different dates when it will be sorted but every day brings the same problem.  I can read my e-mails but that is all. Any helpful tips please?

AFAIK this issue only occurs when signed in to the affected account in webmail. It does not occur:

  • when the affected account has been added to another webmail account
  • when using an email client

FWIW consider migrating away from Virgin Media Mail.

Thank you. I'm puzzled why this problem occurred only after Virgin Media did maintenance work on e-mails at the end of June 2023. All was good before that.
