5g reception

I have switched to Virgin from Vodafone. As I understand it Virgin uses Vodafone for 5g but since switching to Virgin I am getting 5g at far fewer locations than I did with Vodafone. Annoyingly this includes my home address where I used to get perfect 5g with Vodafone. Any suggestions why this might be?

Virgin now use O2 whose 5G footprint is smaller that Vodafone.

Hi @HowardCh,

Welcome to our Community Forums! Thank you for your first post and for your query! 🙂

As @enlli Our systems now operate on the O2 network, so this will be the network you're connected to if you're with us at Virgin Media. You can take a look at our Mobile Coverage page for more information about the service you're receiving in your area.

If there's anything else we can do to help, please let us know. We're here to help!
