I recently upgraded to the Gig1 fibre from my previous m100 package, since installing I have run multiple speed tests using websites such as 'Samknows Speed test', 'Ookla website and desktop app' and a few others, all of them showing quite different speeds and none of them are close to the advertised 1000mb/s.
I am using a Cat 7e ethernet cable and I am running the tests on my desktop which has a gigabit ethernet port, which has also all the updated network drivers so the device shouldnt be the issue. Has anyone else experienced this as I am quite stuck on what to do.
Here are some photos from the tests.

Hi Ellioth56
Thanks for posting and welcome to the community.
Apologies for the lower than expected speed - I've done a system check today and no outages are showing, all levels are in spec etc.
I hope everything has sorted itself out but do keep me posted if you need further assistance.
Best,

Hi John, thanks for your reply, I'm still having the same issue and the speed seems to be staying consistanly low, I think the first day of installation I was able to download a game at 103MB/s which is the equivalent of around 800Mb/s, so I was originally getting the right download speeds but ever since it has been a lot lower.

Hi @Ellioth56
Thanks for getting back to us.
Sorry to hear you are still experiencing sluggish speeds, I understand how frustrating this must be.
Can you please perform a Pinhole reset on your Hub by following these exact instructions:
Disconnect all unneeded ethernet cables from the rear of the Hub.
With the Hub Powered on use a paperclip or similar (I use a mobile phone SIM Slot tool) and do a pinhole reset.
Depress the pinhole switch for a timed 60 seconds then release.
DO NOT reboot the hub but allow it 5 to 10 minutes for it to boot itself up.
Let me know how things are working after this 🙂
Kind regards,
Serena
