Highwinds CDN Issues (Resolved)

Anyone else is having issues connecting to sites that use the Highwinds CDN such as code.jquery.com that a variety of sites use such as https://bidb.uk/ and https://login.timesheetportal.com/ ?  It just times out, the server is pingable.  The content loads through a VPN.

Hello! I'm having absolutely exactly the same problem as you. Currently it is Friday, the 28th of April at 1:51 pm UK time.

I find that code.jquery.com just cannot be reached at all when on Virgin media. It was driving me mad until I saw your post 4 hours ago... FYI this stops things like dakboard.com boards from working (i.e. as is in my case, and any other sites which use CDNs for jQuery before they load).

I'm glad its not just me.  It works fine on a vpn and works fine from a server from work so I guess its a issue to virginmedia.  I found it stopped working yesterday. 

As said above it stops other sites from working correctly.which uses jquery to function when they don't host the files internally.

bidb.uk been fine here for days/weeks and today.....Sometimes the detail pane of 4G/5G can have a spinning wheel. It mostly does this on the vodafone section.

https://bidb.uk/  All ok here, I am NOT using Virgin D.N.S.

Im not using virgin dns either.  I have tried cloudfare, google and quad 9 dns servers  It also depends on whether your browser has cached the scripts it getting from code,jquery.com .  If all is OK you should be able to visit the site http://code.jquery.com too.

It could also be region specific with routing issues.  I am from Teesside.

 

http://code.jquery.com  took a long time to resolve to: https://releases.jquery.com/
