I have tried to explain to Virgin customer service that an increase in my bill of £24 to almost £100 a month is not within my budget. I have been with Virgin since 1986 and am now 74 and living on a pension. One adviser told me that she could reduce the bill to £73, a few days later I received a notification saying that changes had been made to my bill which would now be £97 a month. I have tried to contact Virgin but each adviser gives me different stories. To add insult to injury I am being bombarded with emails, letters and tv adverts offering fantastic deals to new customers. I am advised that I should haggle or threaten to leave to get a better deal, but why should I? Most companies look after customers and try to keep the loyal ones. Virgin obviously couldn't care less.

Good afternoon @Mervynhancock.
Welcome back to the forums & thank you for taking the time to post.
Really sorry to hear that you have had some issues with your contract.
Do you have any confirmation of the price offered to you over the phone?
Kind regards

Hello Zak
After speaking to the lady my package showed it had been reduced to £73 which currently shows on my account. Then on January 28 I received an email claiming I had changed the package and the new price from Feb 24th would be £97! I have tried ringing but without success.
