As of last night the phone line is completely dead with no dial tone.
Problems started from last Wednesday, the phone would ring displaying no caller ID then stop, on the odd time i could get to pick up in time, the line was silent and after hanging up and attempting 1471 there was no dial tone, after waiting a few minutes and getting a dial tone when calling 1471 the service recalled the last incomming call from monday. As a check I pluged in an old style wired phone and did get a dial tone but was crackly and unstable.
Help on this matter would be much apprecated.

Are you experiencing issues with the service elsewhere? Or is this just with the connection to the landline?
