Disable 1571

Can I arrange to remove my free voice mail service from my home phone , as I have an external answerphone to use.

Yes, we can get this removed for you at our side. Please join me on private message so I can locate your account and pass account security. You can see your private messages at the top of the page, in the envelope icon or if you're using a smaller device, you can see your private messages by clicking on the Virgin Media logo at the top right and select 'Messages' from the drop down.

I would like to turn off my voice mail feature (1571) , i have called 1571 to do this but theres no option available. 
Im not prepared to give up a week of my life by doing it through the 150 service. Can anyone help please.
