Error code CS2004

When I try to watch channel 504 sky cricket the picture always distorts and I get error code CS2004 occasionally. I have tried all the normal checking cables and reboots but it makes no difference. It is just this channel, all others are absolutely fine. Please help.

Hi @Chris_fox9 

CS2004 is usually due to loose cabling (which you say you've checked) especially the white coaxial where it connects to the splitter, and then also to your 360 box.

Sometimes it's due to a local issue. Have you used the /check-services/ function? You can also a run a test on your equipment from there. 

Normally more than one channel is affected by a signal issue, so I would expect that distorted picture to also show up on the following channels which are all the same mux as Sky Sports Cricket:-

Eurosport 2, Sky Comedy, Sky Family, Cartoon Network, TLC, Quest HD, Sony TV, France 24 English and Zee Cinema.

If nothing is showing  you could also try the automated Service Status number  0800 561 0061.  This often gives details of more local issues down to postcode level.
