WiFi calling not getting incoming calls

I've noticed recently that many people calling me on my Samsung S10 don't even get a ringing tone or get through to voicemail, it just hangs up immediately. It happens about 3 times out of 4 incoming calls.  It only happens when I have WiFi Calling turned on and WiFi connected.  It doesn't seem as bad if the incoming call is from another Virgin mobile. I've spent 6 hours communicating with Virgin tech help and even tried changing the sim but still as bad as ever.  I have caring responsibility and need reliable incoming calls. HELP!

Yes I can confirm my issue happens on all WiFi networks.

Can I ask if you attempt video calls via other apps if they're impacted in the same way?

All other video apps, work perfectly. 

I can make/receive all types of calls on Whatsapp and Signal without any issues.

Also, dialling from WiFi calling works fine, it just has a problem receiving calls.

I also have no problems with other video and audio calling apps like WhatsApp.

The only problem I've found with outgoing calls on WiFi calling is on some switchboards, where the call hangs up when one is transferred from the reception to an extension.  Happened 100% of the time on calling over wifi, 0% on regular calls.

It's incoming calls that were the main problem.  I've had to stop using it for this reason.

I have this exact same problem. Most of the time no can can reach me unless they try about 5 times. Even then they usually can't hear me. Then if I call them back its fine.

I am using a Samsung S10.

Thanks for the updates, when you have spoken to people or if you have tried this yourself, do you get any error messages or dial tones when trying to call you?

Hi, when people try to dial me they do not get any error messages. 

They do not have a dial tone either, the call simply does not connect.

On other instances if the call does connect after a few attempts it is one way audio - I can hear the caller but they cannot hear me.

As you can appreciate this is extremely frustrating.

That is very strange, do you know if the people experiencing issue's both contacting you and with the audio when they do get in contact are on different networks to you?

 

Does this happen everywhere or in specific locations? Or at certain times?
