Sky sports error ovp_00005

On both my phone and my laptop whenever I try and watch sky sports after purchasing on the stream box it produces the error code OVP_00005 and said that I don't have the correct subscription even tho I can watch fine on the stream box.

Can you please confirm which page you are logging in to to watch this?

Using the sky sports login and going thro the virgin media UK portal

Thanks for coming back to us on this one. 

This is a known fault that the teams are currently investigating. As a stream customer, there is a bug preventing the access on the Sky Sports App. 

I'll need to raise this to the team that are looking in to this but in order to do that I will need to confirm some information with you. I have sent you a private message regarding this. Just click on the little plum envelope at the top right-hand side of the page to access your inbox.

Thanks for coming back to me via private message for an update. 

Usual timescales for the IT Team can be up to 10 working days however at busier times this could be longer. I understand the frustration however as soon as I have an update, I will come back to you. 

In the meantime, you can continue to use the subscription on the Stream box.
