When I try to block a domain containing a dash such as ext-twitch.tv, I get the error:
Please enter valid website address
This was working earlier

I have added a list of domains to be blocked and also added a category, but they do not seem to be effective.
The blocked domains, are all available and also the cateogries I blocked.

No issues with adding ext-twitch.tv; likely reason for error is pre- or post- space character(s) in URL

Are the devices involved using Virgin Media's DNS?

Yes, all are using the VirginMedia router only.
The web page was a bit different, like an old version or something, but now the previous/original webpage is back. I can add the domains with a dash.
However, now I am getting a different error:
