Why does TNT Sports cut short baseball games short? I've tried to watch 3 games today and both finished early. What's happening? After watching 2-3 hours of a game we don't get to see the finish. It's very frustrating when I know somebody at TNT Sports is cutting out adverts during the game, why don't they let us see the end?

It's happened again!
Live:Major League Baseball, Game 2, New York Mets @ Phillips finished during the 9th innings. 3 hours and 19 minutes and that's it! Total waste of time and money.

Hi @stefmles
Thanks for posting and welcome back to the community. Sorry to hear of the issues with the Baseball game.
Do you mean this was being watched live or on record and cut out the ending as it over-ran?
It was from a recording that cut out, from what you've said, the coverage was 3 hours and 19 minutes. the program in question (if you meant the Monday one) was 3 hours and 15 mins. I am afraid that we don't have a dynamic TV guide, so if the program over-runs, it won't automatically adjust the recordings, so I always for any recording of sport etc always add extra time just in case.
If it's live TV and not a recording, please let me know as we can investigate this.

It was on TNT Sports catch up on Virgin Stream.
TV Shows > Sport > TNT Sports > View all > Live: Major League Baseball. It happened again with Philles at NY Mets Game 4.
I imagine it's TNT Sports who cut short the programme automatically and not VM's fault.
As I'm paying for a TNT Sports subscription I think I should be able to receive all the benefits that subscription, at the moment I don't think I am. Please try and get TNT Sports to sort out this issue. Thanks

Hi @John_GS
The New York Mets v Phillies was a live game on TNT Sports 4, broadcast started 21:00 Saturday 5th October and the program finished at 00:15 Sunday 6th October. . I've just checked the catch up which is available on my 360 Catch up service and it lasts 3 hours 20 and cuts out before the end of the game.
I've seen this posted about previously on the forums regarding baseball games not showing the finish of the games on TNT Sports, however I've been unable to find any threads relating to the issue.

Hi again @John_GS
It's not a problem for myself as it's not a sport I watch, but it is for @stefmles and since they have a Stream box they don't have the recording option..
Last time a customer had this issue I recorded a couple of games to see if I could replicate the problem, and had added 15 minutes extra time as a buffer, however the recordings failed to show the end of the game and instead started recording the next program.
It shouldn't normally be a problem as most games finish before the alloted end time. I'd be upset if that happened with any of the football games I record though 😃

Hi @newapollo
Thanks once again 🙂
I was merely saying thanks for clarifying about the recording / live TV option. It's been raised now for the OP :).

I'm wondering if the game had been delayed for what ever reason and had gone over scheduled time?
I had a very similar situation whilst watching the America's Cup, racing was delayed due to a lack of wind. But when racing finally started the recorded and catch up programme ended abruptly.
Not great especially as the original post stated we pay a lot of money for TNT Sports.

Thanks for your replies, can you imagine the outcry if and FA Cup, Euro Cup or World Cup match broadcast finished during a penalty shootout! There'd be questions asked in the Houses of Parliament, the national press would have a field day slamming an incompetent broadcaster.
I hope TNT Sports get things sorted, I might write to the MLB and let them know what the British are doing to their broadcasts.
