Hi,

I've noticed in the last 24 hours that my broadband speed is extraordinarily slow. It ought to be 200Mb/s. Using SamKnows I got:

Latency 35.5 ms
Jitter 20.5 ms
Download 4.70 Mbps
Upload 19.7 Mbps

From the logs we can see 5 T3 timeouts and numerous RCS Partial Service errors. Also noticed that the number of Pre and Post RS errors have been creeping up.

 

In summary:

Pro's: speed using ethernet cable to connect to hub is now above 200Mb/s.

Con's: there still seem to be connectivity issues - T3 timeouts, Partial Service errors, occasional packet loss and weirdly drop in wireess speed from hub.

I have had another look at the account and there appears to be no issues. Your power levels are all within spec and the congestion issue in your area which was previously identified has been sorted. 

 

It has been 5 days since you last rebooted your hub. Are you able to do so now? This will refresh your connection and allow your devices to hop onto the least congested channels.

Hi Ayisha,

Thanks for getting in touch. I have now rebooted the hub and I suppose I shall need to continue monitoring to see if this rectifies the apparent connectivity issues described in my earlier posts. As I mentioned wireless speeds between the hub and other devices in my home appeared to have dropped. The hub restart appears to have corrected this so that's some good news.

Downstream power levels seem high to me. Also alarming numbers ot pre and post RS errors. Logs contain plenty of Partial Service errors and T3 time outs. Can you take a look at this please?

From looking at the account there are a few issues that stand out, some devices connected to your 5Ghz wireless network are experiencing issues. These seem to be TV boxes and an Amazon device, there are also some power level issues across the downstream channels.

 

These will require a technician as there is no longer any indication of congestion on the account or area. I'm going to send you a Private Message to get some more details form you and look forward to your reply.
