Ordering Wifi Pods

Has anyone actually managed to order wifi pods from Virgin? We were set up on virgin 2 weeks ago and the engineer agreed that we will need at least 2 wifi pods to reach the back rooms of the house. I have been in contact with live chat and over the phone who agreed to send me the first pod. They made the order and delivery was stated as 10th December. Later that day received a text saying they couldn't deliver due to unforseen circumstances.

Since then, each adviser just tells me the order is there but there are warehouse issues. There is a delay with order etc. Each adviser gives a different timescale or excuse. When I was sold VM, I was promised by the adviser that I could have 3 wifi pods to test connection during the 14 day cooling off period. Here we are at the end of the cooling off period and I am just encountering excuse after excuse and only have wifi in 2/3rds of my home.

I am happy to keep Virgin if I can guarantee wifi signa throughout my home. But how can a company not fulfill basic promises and basic customer service. I am tempted to just cancel the service before the 14 day cooling off expires and go back to BT. Slower speeds but actually had decent customer service.

I hopefully will get a pod delivery today. Original delivery date was 09/12/24

If the order is on your account it will be delivered, they have had problems in the warehouse

Hey Bernski, thank you for reaching out and I am so sorry to hear about your delivery issue.

Due to an incident at a warehouse operated by one of our third-party suppliers, some customers are experiencing delays receiving their orders. We are working with our partner to expedite deliveries as soon as possible, have directly contacted those customers affected to apologise and will keep them updated
