Received the new Wi-Fi box, done all the steps correctly but constantly flashing Green, nothing is working, tried to phone up to book engineer but keep getting told I’ll “get a call back” but never do, is it always this bad? First time with Virgin and far from impressed so far!

I presume you mean a VM broadband hub. It’s possible it’s not been activated call:
