Even though I pay over £100 a month, my teenagers often have to use their unlimited WiFi on their phones as a hotspot and my partner has bought another company's unlimited SIM to keep the living room tv on. WHY is connection so bad? Especially as being 'constantly updayed/ maintenance '.The box is in the centre of the house, we've bought boosters etc. Seems a huge ripoff. If anyone else offered over 60 mbs, I'd leave in an instant

There are a number of things to factor in here. You mentioned you purchased boosters. Personally I don’t think boosters are the best option. Especially for a family home. Depending on which package you have, virgin media offer to their customers the WiFi pods which will help with WiFi coverage across your home. If you do not pay for gig1 broadband I think you’ll have to pay £5 extra a month for them. Alternatively, you can purchase your own mesh system and place your virgin media hub into modem mode. With Black Friday just around the corner, I recommend the Eero 6 mesh which you can buy from Amazon

Hi faekaruna,
Thanks for posting and sorry to hear you're having some issues with the WiFi.
Can you confirm if any devices are able to be moved over to a wired connection?
Have you reset the hub recently?
