Disconnections - No Ranging Response received - T3 time-out

My connection has been stable for years, but a few weeks ago it dropped our for several days. I rebooted and reset but that didn't fix it. Had an engineer booked, but the night before it came back online, so cancelled the visit.

It has now started playing up again. Went offline again today for about 30 minutes off and on.

In the network log are a number of T3 time-outs.

Reading other posts with similar errors I believe the downstream power levels should be between -6 and +10 - which the majority of mine are outside of.

I believe the upstream modulation should ideally be on 64 qam, which again mine isn't.

Upstream and downstream stats are in the next post.

I assume this requires an engineers visit to fix?

Is the best way to get one for this issue via the forum?

Thanks

Its dreadful - needs the Tech back to correct it.

Your down power levels are all too low and you only have 1 Up channel instead of 4 and it is struggling.

Switch it off and unplug it for 5 minutes and see if the other 3 Up channels nmagically appear and stabilise things - unlikely the down powers will improve though

All stats are spot on now - any issues on the connection now ?

I have been around much today, so can't say for certain if there have been any more issues.

There have been a few errors in the logs (I rebooted it at about 10:20) and the downstream power levels appear to have dropped across the board.

Is it normal behavior for the power to fluctuate like this and are the new errors anything to worry about?

Thanks for the response. Whats the best way to get a technician booked for an issue like this - ring them up or via the forum?
