I contacted virgin media via webchat to cancel the landline,tv and broadband service 7th February. I was informed that i could only cancel the broadband and tv after the landline was switched to my new provider. So once my new provider was set up and my landline moved over i rang again on the 24th Feb to cancel. Had a very frustrating conversation with someone who kept putting me on hold and wouldn’t accept my wish to cancel. After 22 minutes of this she finally agreed that i could cancel as of 8 th March. I asked for confirmation of this date to be sent to me. Of course it hasnt happened . Meanwhile my account online makes no mention of the cancellation which concerns me as i fear virgin will not action the request and will keep debiting money from my bank account for a service i dont want. How can i get confirmation of cancellation?
