Landline suddenly went dead 3 months ago.have checked and double checked phone, cables and the connection in the white virgin media cable box. Unable to get any help from virgin - anyone any ideas as to next move?

There's no outages on the line here, but can you confirm the following before we go further please:
- Have you tried a new handset?
- Is your phone connected via the standard telephone socket?

Yes tried new handset and have checked wires in sockets. It is a scandal that it is impossible to report this issue to Virgin by phone email text bots etc. just impossible to talk to anyone
