A break in undersea cabling between the UK and Ireland is causing some customers in Belfast to experience intermittently slow broadband.
A repair ship is out at sea and, despite the difficult conditions, our team is working hard to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
A permanent solution may take several days. We would like to apologise to any customers affected for any inconvenience caused.

Our undersea engineers have informed us that the cable is fixed, and our onshore team have confirmed this.
Thank you for your patience while we got this sorted out.
