As a tempoary solution you can use the Virgin TV Go app instead to go into the 360 box settings and also control the box.

You should also be to roder a replacement remote online through My Virgin Media

Silly question but have you tried new batteries?
If the remote appears to have stopped working make sure the the power saving mode setting is on Fast Start
Press and hold the TV and Rewind button for 10 seconds which will factory reset the TV 360 remote.
To pair the 360 remote hold down the 'TV' button and '0' button together until the Standby button starts to flash.
You can also re - pair the remote by pressing Home > Settings > Pair remote with devices ? Pair TV and follow the on screen instructions

I gave up tried the app said there was a fault on box phoned virgin they said they were having trouble with app will just wait for new remote thanks for your help
