Stuck in migration

⚠️ I am stuck halfway through my transfer from VM-O2 to O2-VM ‼️

 

As a seasoned traveller 🤪 of migration ( EE to Vodafone to VM-O2 ) …

 

Stress facts: 

  • Your refresh date … 12th Aug 2023
  • I have been using data at a rate suitable for AFTER the migration (and I am using it even now to do this).
  • I will totally run out of data almost immediately.

 In a telephone 📞 conversation today VM-O2 say I am “totally locked down” and ready to go at 11th August. 

 

Amongst the many diverse instructions was one I had overlooked and I was scolded … ”The migration failed because you switched off your phone on the eleventh of July”. 

 

I have a physical sim from O2-VM. Their ‘Verified Live’ team advise me it is up and working.

 

So the decision is to keep using the VM-O2 e-sim till the data runs out then delete that e-sim. 

 

What say you in the ‘community’ ⁉️ will that work?

It is “a puzzlement !” … (that is my much used quote from “The King and I” … as I whistle “a happy tune” to self).
