Got an engineer booked for next week as we switch from SKY to Virgin Media Broadband.  Does the engineer have to connect house to pavement by digging up the drive?  How does the engineer connect house to Broadband?

When they arrive you will discuss this with them to see what options would be viable. If you have a wall or fence going around the edge of your driveway for example they could run it along there.

If it's more than just digging a small trench beneath grass/soil then there's a fair chance your installation may not be able to go ahead on the day and have to be rearranged until a suitable method can be agreed and preparations made.

Do not cancel your existing broadband service until Virgin is in and working. Installation delays are very common.

My name is NOT Alessandro. That's just a tag Virginmedia sticks on some contributors. Please ignore it.
