Our electrician installed a fibre outlet in our living room. The outlet simply runs a cable to the exterior and the external virgin cable box connects to this wire. The interior plug on the end of this cable is a cable con 4.9.
The broadband cable supplied with the virgin hub 3.0 (red and black stickers) does not connect to this cable con 4.9 plug.
Do I just need to buy one of these: PROception Inline Coupler Satellite F Plug? https://www.toolstation.com/proception-inline-coupler/p97650
It looks like this is the female - female adaptor that would connect these two wires. Just want to check before I buy them.
