Should I have a hub 5 ?

Hi Just joined Virgin new customer and notice the hub I have been given is a hub 3 is that right ?  I thought i would be given a newer hub this seems to be old equipment

Ok, the HUB 5 is still in trial, and the HUB 4 is usually provided on higher tier packages that require the revelevant tech the HUB 4 uses for the higher speeds.

Stick with Hub 3 for the meantime, Hub 4 seems to have issues
Hub 3 supports up to 600mb I believe so it's more than capable for your 200mb plan 🙂
