Just swapped to VM, for some reason, security cameras and central heating control (next) keep going off line, wifi seems weak, suggestions

Put a WiFi Analyser app on your mobile phone and check the signal levels especially when the Security cameras etc go offline.
Typically this type of equipment often works on the 2.4Ghz channel, so using the WiFi analyser your looking the Hub's SSID on channels 1 to 13.
If VM's Hub as replaced a Router from another ISP, did the previous WiFi system have 1 or more extenders to give better WiFi coverage ?
