I’m trying to call Virgin Media to manage my account and the price increase however when it asks for my password over the phone, I can only put numbers in not letters on the keypad. How do I put my password in if it doesn’t have an option for letters on a keypad?

Hi @amberyoung

The numbers on a phone from 2 to 9  correspond to the letters shown below

2(A,B,C)     3(D,E,F)    4(G,H,I)    5(J,K,L)    6(M,N,0)    7(P,Q,R,S)    8(T,U,V)    9(W,X,Y,Z).

Supposing my password was charlie and they wanted the 2nd, 4th, and 5th  letters then I would press  4 7 5

If my password was giraffe and they wanted the 1st, 5th, and 7th  letters then I would press  4 3 3
