Connect Device to Hub

I have 2 mobiles and 2 laptops running on my Wi-Fi but none are showing on the Virgin Media Connect app. I am also struggling to understand how I can get them to show in the app, the instructions I’ve come across in the FAQ’s have been no good.

Once this is working will I be able to select which devices I want to connect and which I don’t?

Are the devices connected to the HUB's WiFi or are you using additional access points?

oddly after posting this message last night all devices started to show on the app..?!?! No idea why but think this is resolved, thanks for the reply.
