Paying for M500 but only getting between 85 & 95 mbps. Engineer came out. Changed some cables, the speed was ok for a few days but now its back to 85/95 again. Connected laptop via Ethernet cable and ran speed tests. Still 85/95 max. I’ve reset the router made no difference. Also cannot access my router settings as it’s saying the password is wrong. Tried a pin hole reset no joy. The engineer said the router was locked and he would get this sorted but hasn’t done this.

There are two passwords on the Hub. Are you using the right one for Settings?
Check on your device that its ethernet is connecting at 1000Mb and not 10/100Mb.

Yes I’m using the right password. The engineer couldn’t connect to it either. He said it was locked and he would get it unlocked. But I’ve not heard anything and still can’t access the router.
how do I check if it’s connecting at 100??
