How to cancel BT Sport

How do I cancel my BT Sport account?
I tried calling and ended up being transferred and put on hold. I gave up after an hour on hold. 

Is there and easier way?

Hi UKAU14,

You could try the text messaging service.

Just send  a text with a description of cancel BT Sport  to 07533 051809. Your message will go into a queue and a representative will respond to you as soon as possible. It may take a few days. 

You can also call  150 from your Virgin landline, or 0345 454 1111, but best to call at 8am to avoid call queues.

If you have BT Sport as a standalone addon there should be a 30 day cancelletion period.

However if it's part of a package then it will affect any discounts you may have on that package
